The Nova Pellet throw-type refiner is a compact and robust machine, suitable for pulverizing various types of wood chips and shavings.

The core of the machine consists of special steel hammers (treated carbon steel, Hardox, etc.) mounted on a sturdy rotor. Spinning at 2950 rpm, the hammers push the material onto stationary counter-hammers, grinding it and forcing it through the holes in the grid.
The grid is easily replaceable and can have holes of various sizes, allowing for the desired particle size of the sawdust to be achieved.

Our refiners can be used in various industries and with different materials, such as plastic, wood, dry or wet biomass, and dry or wet agricultural materials.

The ability to have interchangeable perforated grids provides flexibility in choosing the size of the output material. Various types of grids are available, with the most common being perforated (ranging from Ø3 mm to Ø15 mm) or slotted (from 4×8 mm to 10×30 mm).
